OMG HIATUS!!!

As some of you may have noticed (or not - whatever) I haven't been around LJ much. This, for once, is not due to me sucking (as it normally is), but because school (+ TA + work) is kicking my ass.

Kicking. My. Ass!!

The days need to be twice as long, damnit! I would list the gazillion things I have to do in the next few weeks, but frankly, it's too depressing and panic-inducing.

I'm currently living off of pasta, hash browns and cheese, because by the time I get around to going home each night, the grocery stores have closed, and that is all I have in my kitchen. Don't ask about the state of my laundry. Please.

Therefore, I'm taking a break from LJ and fandom for a few weeks while the world tries to crush my soul. I'll still be reading stuff every now and then, but I won't be commenting or posting until I can crawl out from under the undending mass of work that's trying to break me. However, I am keeping a list, so don't be surprised if you get a comment from me in about 3 weeks or so, on something you posted a month ago.

I am still writing the occasional 1000 word drabble-thing, but I can't comment on the coherency of something written at 3am in the throes of sleep deprivation and caffeine intoxication. (I need the occasional break - shut up!).

Thus, I leave, to have my will to live broken by the 35 mid-terms I have to mark by tomorrow.

So...I'm back...ish. Life is calmer, though not noticeably better. Though, I have finally gotten around to that pesky grocery shopping thing.

Food is nice.

So is a clean apartment, but that's for this weekend. Maybe.

I'm glad that things are calmer for you. :-)

And yes, I'm still not done with that beta. I suck. But I *have* been writing, so maybe that's some consolation?

Depends...what have you been writing? Because my Willow/Spike AU has been stalled in the middle of a conversation since May, but I can probably be tempted to just move on to the next scene. ::hopeful eyes::

LOL! Well, mostly I've been writing Angels and Demons with Femail, but i've had an idea for a new Torchwood genfic that I'd like to get started on, and I've promised either a Willow/Angel or Willow/Spike to someone else, so I'm going to try to work on that this weekend.

So, get back to work on your Willow/Spike AU, pretty please ::hopeful eyes::
