I had read this a while ago but lost the link so had to aske the lovely people at spn story finders for help. I am so good I could revisit this wonderful story. I loved the pack/unit idea, and think you hit the nail on the head with the whole action/inaction debate. I mean they were soliders so sitting around in what is in essence a seige/standoff deal must have caused distent. I never got why, besides the fact that she was the lead character that max was in charge of all the transgenics. She was a the heart of it a diserter/traitor. You don't leave your people behind and she did! Thank you so much I hope you write more I love your alec.
