Someone on my flist did a whole post on why not to watch Dollhouse (I think it was miss_porcupine) and I found that every point she made was something I agreed with.
My main problems are summed up in 2 points: -the dubious consensual prostitution that encompasses the entire premise of the show -the humiliation aspect, ie. how everyone but Echo is 'in on the joke'
They're 2 of my biggest turn-offs, in any kind of storytelling, and I was changing the channel or muting the sound more than I was watching the show. Instead, I'll watch Flashpoint and support Canadian made shows. :)
